Y must Johnhawk send me this idiotic photo frm out of nowhere last nite? This was taken more than a year ago. Didn't noe tat was his camera and of cos i dunno him then. There's nothing more between me and this guy above (and also some other). Mayb 1 day u might see him walking down the street with some other gal. It's absolutely non of my business. Juz dun mistake her as me. I repeat there's no more affliliation whatsoever between us. End of story.

Felt very sleepy at work today. Guess this is wat happens when u rest for a day in the middle of the week. Many things awaiting me to file and key in after i return today. Chai Li also took half day off yest. Suppliers bought us curry puffs and lychees today. Shouldn't have told Chris i was going JB. Should have known tat words will get around and she's kinda KPO. Lol... I guess bo bian cos they r mostly Malaysians so their ears will light up at the words of JB.

The trip to JB was fruitful. I got 2 tops frm, no surprise, Mango again. They are having sale as well. It's much neater and there are more sizes and selection though the store is not very big. Was able to find wat i cannot get in S'pore Mango. I got a pair of heels frm Vincci as well. Nice, look classy. Black with Gold, a nice combi. Nv tot tat these 2 colors could work b4 but they did. Hehe... Then we settled for lunch at Coffee Bean cos the fish & chips restorant has closed down.

The sun was damn blazing. It's only a causeway difference and the degrees are like world's apart. I'm not kidding. If you think the weather in S'pore is humid and hot, try JB. I think i got a shade darker seriously. I was perspiring like mad. Can't stand the heat. It'll give me heat rash. There wasn't much jam at the causeway either. So the traffic wasn't tat bad.

Oh well, it's back to work again tmr...

Was pondering on Azharie's words last nite. "U would try to meet the special someone everyday if possible". Would U?

Yest was THE showdown. Didn't expect it to be so soon. Alice emailed Julie regarding confidentiality of certain documents which she has left on her table unlocked the previous day. At the same time, she also bcc our big boss. Tat was the most evil man. Julie pulled a black face the whole morn (apparently after seeing the email but she doesn't noe it was sent to the boss unless she was reprimanded) and asked Alice into her room after lunch. Started off with Julie saying things like Alice could have come straight to confront or talk to her etc. I only managed to hear a teeny bit then the door was closed and even locked! The rest of us were quite taken back. Things had gotten so solemn. Dunno wat happened inside... But when the door opens, Julie was suddenly all nice and talking to Alice again, offering her things to eat etc. I find it all very fake though...

Another shocker: Chris has tendered her resignation. Seems like everyone is leaving. Haha... Left Chai Li and Ms Soh. So Chris will be leaving around same time as my assignment ends. Really despise small Pte Ltd Co now. I noe i am stereotyping but i can't help it. These 2 months have shown me 2 incompetent, lousy Pte Ltd Co. If the Co was successful, then the turnover rate wouldn't be so high. I will definitely look for MNCs for perm jobs in future.

After work, I headed to town again. Supposed to meet Kok Hong, Jason and Yu Fen. Ended up with Jason only. Yu Fen cannot stay for dinner and Kok Hong didn't wanna come after he heard Jason was coming. So petty... I bough another skirt frm Mango. We had dinner at Din Tai Fung. Thanks for being such a great pal, Jason. U noe wat i mean. We took quite a few photos with Yu fen also. Stupid blogger dunno y unable to upload pics. I got so many pics frm previous entries yet to be posted too.

Yes, i still live up to my name. Got a sms frm Mango today saying tat their sale will start tmr. I fwd tat msg to Dianna and she told me she'll be going down immed after work today. Today was actually meant exclusively for members only. So there i was, thanks to Dian's sis cos she is a member. This is the first time tat i'm there for the members' sale. There were still loads of selections and sizes and more importantly, they were NOT tat messy yet. But then again, this season's clothes really suck. I ended up buying a baby-doll top only at half price. Dian also got 1 top only. Haiz... One good thing is tat we can save up for our individual trips. Oh well, better than nothing. I tot i wouldn't even be at this semi-annual sale at all due to work. We then had dinner at a HK cuisine restaurant called Central. It's located at the basement of Taka. Not tat exp but the food also not tat great. I had some instant noodle fried with egg and luncheon meat. Tat alone costs abt 6-7 bucks. Charles & Keith as well as other shops are also coming up with wedges. Hope there'll be one to my fancy soon. As usual, i bought some breads frm Breadtalk for breakfast and lunch tmr. Then, we headed home.

My office politic is heating up. Seems like most of us are turning against our finance manager. She's a newcomer. But she slacks alot and always push her tasks/resposibilities to other ppl. Getting high pay for nothing sia. The cheques/invoices etc tat we have prepared and require approval and signature by the bigger boss are still in her room. They have been there for almost a week. Dunno wat she's doing. It doesn't take long to check thru them and pass to the higher level. Guess she's plain lazy. They say she's always stoning but acts busy with so many documents laid out on her table as if she got many things to do. Haha... She has even shifted her monitor such tat we cannot see wat she's doing. Chris said Julie surfed many websites unrelated to work e.g. Pizza Hut! (according to her logs) and even printed ice-creams advs etc. Such a loser. Think she should have set a good example as a manager...

Oh and Chai Li told me today tat my agency only charge them $8/h, meaning they only earn a miserable amt. Stupid agency! They could have charged $9 or $9.50 just like other agencies. Then I would have been able to earn more also. Damn...

Met up with Carisse today and went shopping at Bugis. We practically covered almost every inch of the shopping centre and more. She brought me to the new shopping paradise opp of Breadtalk, called Icon. It has 6 stories. The place is kinda cramp though. There's very little space for u to walk around and the shops are very small as well. Nothing fantastic there... But it started me off with the wedges/heels-searching. The pair tat i saw there resembles those at Pazzion.


Some Jap gigantic dolls for some new ice-cream. damn exp lei a cone cost abt $4. I wouldn't try though. weird flavors like green tea...


We went on to shop at Bugis Street and OG. Saw the heels there as well but none suits my size. Lucky i nv buy on impulse. Saw another pair of wedges with similar design cheaper by 15 bucks too. But there's no size for me also when i came back to buy. We went to get bubble tea and go OG first b4 returning. I bought another Guess bag. No surprise, really. Haha... Dun even have to consider this time round cos it's 50% off. Bought it straight away. A pity tat i couldn't get my hands on the wedges. They are quite nice to me. Oh well... Guess i have to look around or maybe wait for new designs... Spent a total of 75.90 today. Ka-ching...

Went to watch omen yest with Jason. The ending is kinda expected. Satan never dies... But it is abit complicated in the middle cos we r not sure which priest was the one at the hospital. There were 2 of them. The seats at Tiong Bahru is quite lousy. Jason had a hard time sitting still throughout the show cos the space was not wide enough for his long legs. After tat, we went to the new Tiong Bahru mkt for dinner. can't find the char siew rice i wanted though. Jason said he's nv been there. Should hang out with me more often, dude. Haha... I'll bring u to more delicacies. B4 i met him, I even managed to do a 15-min shopping and bought a peddle-pusher. Am i the shopping queen or wat? Lol...

B calls me when i was on the train. He juz knocked off. We met at the prata shop near my house. He ate while i had Teh-Tarik. Gosh i have been on the comp for too long. U noe how the number pad on keyboard differs frm tat of a phone? The rows of 1, 2 ,3 and 7,8,9 are opposite. I have become so accustomed to keying in invoices tat i press the wrong numbers when i call people nowadays. Horrible...

As for today, nothing much eventful. Parcus, frm a supplier co, asks to see me. This is the first time someone actually asks for me at the reception. Found it weird when the receptionist calls me and said he's looking for me regarding some invoices. Weird guy, actually brought the invoices down himself. I tot he was only joking over the phone or will send his man down. Guess some ppl r really desperate for money. Haha... Right now, i'm awaiting curry for dinner. Hehe...

Only 1 word to describe my weekend. Wonderful. It was the most relaxing. Didn't do much, juz eat & eat - Get fat! Lol... Started off with Katong laksa yest evening. It was nice but pretty small serving. Beng wanted to add tat the service was damn lousy. The auntie totally ignored him initially and was kinda arrogant when talking/passing of money etc. The couple seated next to us also suffered almost the same treatment. The guy ordered laksa and went back to his seat already. After tat, the auntie called out 'Whose laksa?'. She insisted on not serving even though there was no queue cos it was self-service i suppose. Then she asked whether they have paid after taking their bowl and have returned to their seats. Aiyoh... No system of keeping things in track at all.

Then, we went Cold Storage to get some chips. Went bk to watch Fearless by Jet Lee on DVD. But Beng was side-tracked by the Xbox and started to play some racing game. I was laughing my ass off watching him play. His first few rounds were damn hilarious. Kept banging into lamp posts, walls and even nabbed by police. Haha... But it really wasn't easy. I tried my hands at it. I even got turned around back to the starting point direction and dunno how to reverse back. He got better at it after a few more practices and some guidance. Haha...

Wanted to go Robinson for some mid nite shopping but it was pouring outside. Eventually we did watch Fearless. Feeling hungry again after the show. Headed to bukit timah for some pratas but it started to drizzle abit again. Therefore, we did not managed to eat there. Only took a spin round Adam Road. Haha... We ended up at Cold Storage again. Bought the sugar coated bread tat i have been lusting after and ICE-CREAM! Imagine cold weather plus cold dessert. Yummy...

B & I got the same habit nowadays. We will read b4 we sleep. Woke up around 11 this morn. This afternoon was also a lazy one. Rainy weather again. We chilled at Ya Kun Kaya Toast cos Breadtalk did not have the choc bread tat B wants. I did get a bread for work tmr. Sat down for some cheese toast, coffee and tea. Their toasts are nice. Watched the people and cars passing by. Kinda dreamy. Haha...

Then I'm back home for dinner. Did some chores like ironing. Loads of working wear has piled up over the weeks. Right now, i'm applying my Kose white mask (it's black in color though, no idea y they call it white mask. not tat i can see the whitening effect also) while blogging. Needa do some personal grooming once in a while. I have been lazy recently. Haha... Should apply hot oil on my hair next week too... Tat's if i rem. Off to bed soon...

Ok brace yourself this is the longest entry ever...
As usual, this morn i call up my agency. I asked Irene how come not money has not come into my a/c yet. She tot i was talking abt these 2 weeks timesheets. I said it's regarding the shortfall amt. Created hell lotsa trouble. I was transferred to the a/c dept. The gal who spoke to me insisted tat they have done an internet transfer last friday and they have the confirmation slip. She also got my correct a/c no. I am also certain tat there was no such transaction tat went thru for my a/c. Nevertheless, she wants me to update my bank book and call up my bank. Ok i did tat afterward. But this is wat happened in the midst of our conversation where we start to hot up:

I demanded an explanation as to why such a thing happened in the first place. Know wat her reply was? "Everybody makes mistake, right?" Like duh?? I hate generalisation. Juz admit tat it was YOUR mistake, bitch!

Caroline (i learnt her name later): We dun intend to take ur money. In fact, we wanted to pay u along with the next pay check. But since u called up last fri and wanted it immed, so we did an int transfer (I nv said i need it immed and was juz calling to find out last fri. Damn it! Dun wanna admit their fault and still put words in my mouth. And if they sincerely wanna pay me during the next payout, y didn't anyone inform me of it? I bet my ass like they really will bank it in if i nv call in the first place.)
Me: You guys have no integrity.
Caroline, abit taken aback: How can u say tat? u r tarnishing our co's reputation.
Me: This is not defamation and i got proof of it. (thinking to myself 'do they have a reputation to begin with?') LOL...
Caroline: Furthermore, u r working for us.
Me: Tat's y i wanna quit! U guys made a mistake, nv even apologise and still dare to raise voice at me.
She started to quieten down, asked me Irene(my agent) nv say sorry meh? I said no and she said she will check tat out. Right again, as if she will...

Anyway, i did the checking with my bank and then called her bk. The guy at DBS told me tat the money would bounce back to their a/c since it nv came thru. Carol said she would check her internet banking records and do either an ATM deposit or OTC during lunch. Fine, i am pleased with tat answer.

But more confusion followed. Another gal frm JMC called Michelle buzzed me during lunch and said her colls r at the bank. They are, however, unable to bank in the money as there is something wrong with the a/c no. The bank teller gave them another a/c no or so she said. I called DBS once again and then called Mich back. My call was cut off when i was talking halfway with her cos i was in the lift. Call bk again. This time Irene came to the phone. Can tell she was exasperated already. LOL... Said she asked Wen, the HR manager in APP, to do her a big favor by passing me the money first. So this is how the whole thing was settled.

Tat's not it. Practically the whole office noe abt it already. When i came bk frm lunch, Chai Li told me tat the temps there get at least 7 to 7.50 (She was also one of the temps in the past and converted to perm). WTF!!! I am so cheated... I wish the co would juz take me in directly and need not go thru tat fucked-up agency. I need a better proposition man. Badly.

So i was at Indonchine of Wisma last nite. Didn't really drink much. Leslie ordered a jug of Carlsberg and the 3 of us, meaning YS, Leslie and me, shared. The rest of the frenz there are frm NYP. I dunno them. Another of YS's fren is KC, also some police commissioner soemthing. Leslie is looking to recruit tutors for various subjects. Anybody interested to be one, esp those living in the East? The whole nite they were making lame jokes with regards to racism and other stuffs. We even had supper at Newton after tat. They ordered seafood like stingray and crabs and also kan kong and mee goreng. I wanted to bring my camera but forgot. Therefore, I have no photo to upload.

Life is so unfair. Why r some ppl juz born rich? I often ponder abt this. But i noe there's no ans to it. Why is Yong Sheng given a car by his dad even b4 he got his licence? Such a good life. Anyway, he & Leslie insisted on giving treats. Feel so pai seh, esp with YH. He's always doing tat on the occasions tat we go out. Thanks alot guys! I guess i am blessed with rich frenz but not myself.

It has been raining almost the whole day since morning. Didn't really wanna get out of bed this morn. It was such a nice weather to sleep in. I wondered to myself why am i working so hard when it's my holiday and i should be enjoying it. Contemplating whether it should be my last day tmr. I'm feeling so lazy right now. And when i see my bro sleeping in and also naps when i come home after work...Aww... it makes things worse...

Received a call this evening frm another agency. Offered me a position also as accounts asst at Fortune 500 which he said is a subidiary of some MNC. Sounds good at first. It's at Tanjong Pagar but the pay is lower than my current one after CPF. So i dun think this is a wise move. I also told the guy abt my fucked-up agency. Spread the word around this industry...

Will call my stupid agency again this fri if the money is still not in. I dun wanna be an idiot, working for nothing. The issue now is abt integrity and trustworthiness. I'll ask to speak to their manager/supervisor this time round since tat usless 'senior' consultant is so incompetent. She did not mention tat it will come in with my next payout or anything. In fact, she said that she'll transfer the amt immediately. By cheque, machine or internet banking, the money should be in already. I can safely say tat i'm quite familiar with the banking system. Therefore, I'll go on to fight for my right...

Yong Sheng says wanna go Indochine later. So i shall update more abt tat tmr...

Didn't noe the lady waiting at the recept this morn was my new coll. Tot so early got ppl come for pymt or watever liao. She looks abit like Fillipino or Malay cos her skin was quite dark. But she's a true blue Chinese lah, yet another additon to the Malaysian gang in my co. First day at work and she already asked questions abt slacking. Like do we knock off exactly on time, can surf net etc... Worse bummer than me. LOL...

I'm sending in another busary to Ngee Ann Kongsi. Hope this one can also be successful too. Juz got all the necessary documents ready. This one still got interview some more. So troublesome one. Anyone got idea how much does the postage of a large envelope costs? Gonna rest more today and meet my baby tmr. Damn tired man... My back is aching and my eyes are begging to close. Going to watch my 9 o'clock show liao...

After tat, Dian meet her bf while i went off to meet yu fen. Our main priority were the Dan Brown book and dinner. But still we shopped around at the same time. We headed to Robinson[the sales NOT worth waiting for] first. Helped Yu fen looked around for a mascara. Hope the one tat i recommend will work for her and her lashes wun droop down anymore. Let me noe the result :) Haha... we were in & out of the fitting room for numerous times also. Had dinner at long john again. Haha but i will nv mind lah. After tat, me & yu fen were walking around OG. I saw 1 of my guess bags on the racks for sale at 95 bucks. I bought it for $160. Damn it! Lucky i have yu fen with me. Otherwise, I would be ranting on and on abt the guess bag and succumb to other watch temptations. Thanks for dragging me away and reminding me that i juz got a watch today. Yu Fen also has a DKNY watch. Tat makes the 3 of us. Haha... Didn't take a photo of Dian's watch though. Finally, we chilled out at Starbucks cos yu fen has a craving for coffee or mocha to be exact...

Here I am blogging away at work. Guess who i met at lunch? Patricia! Long time nv see her. She's working in a shipping co at Toh Guan too. Said she seldom come out for lunch. That's y this is the first time i saw her. She's my poly ex-schmate. Used to work together in Deutsche Bank too. Such a coincidence.

Chris's bf's sis has passed away while her husband is in a coma. Very poor thing. He woke up once but fell bk to sleep again. Think he doesn't noe tat his wife has passed away. They even had a kid. They were involved in a bike accident in KL. (*Hint hint, b* now i wonder how u ride all the way to cambodia & bk). Heard he banged against the wall of a highway underpass so as to avoid a car or something. My condolences to them...

I headed to the library after work. And after tat, we had fish & chips as usual at West Coast. No, make it that I'm the one who had fish & chips while Beng had chicken cutlet. He wanted chop lei but i ordered wrongly. Sorry... Think my hearing also got problem liao. The damn agency has short- paid me! Shall call them tmr. If they dun give me reasonable explanation, I'm going to quit on the spot. The contract doesn't intimidate me anymore...
