Saw IV

Juz got back from sch and prata with Dear. Yup, I'm a fortunate gal these days thanks to Dear's shower of love and concern :)

Ahhh... Saw IV is coming into cinemas on 8th November!!! I wanna watch, Dear!!! I hope that it will still be screening after our exams. I thought that Saw would end with the 3rd sequel cos both Jigsaw and his apprentice, Amanda, were both dead alr. But now they have come out with the 4th part. Hmmm interesting... I shall see how the story will unfold.

No time to watch shows recently. Dear has helped me to get Season 3 of both Prison Break and Heroes from his fren. So tempted to watch but I have yet to touch them. Alr told Dear that I will watch it after my paper on 24/11/07 since his last paper is on the 28th. I shall keep myself entertained. Haha...

To all the girls out there: Mango is having sale from 29/10/07 to 4/11/07! Mango juz sent me an email to notify me. Haha... I guess this is part of me that will never change. Once a mango freak and always will be one ;)

Daddy has ordered pizza for dinner later. I'm working tmr for 6 hours (my longest so far). I'm looking forward to dinner with Dear tmr and clubbing at nite. Also looking forward to our Bangkok trip in December. We got so many things going on during holiday :)

Been out shopping in town with Jac today. I think I'm good lah. Didn't really buy anything since I got back from HK (not including the LV bag). Perhaps I ought to make HK a yearly affair, purchase enough and dun have to shop for the rest of the year already. Nevertheless, it was great window-shopping and looking at stuffs. But not much to see though cos mostly are winter wear.

Oh yes, I must mention that I have finally found the one. Hee... Thanks for all the well wishes! Met him for dinner juz now. He's such a busy man, started studying for exams alr. Thank U very much, Dear, for being so sweet. But no matter what U must still focus on your studies okie? Must maintain ur GPA and aim for ur first class honors hor? Haha... I won't forget what U said. U said U will work hard to buy me LVs in future. Muahaha...

Occupied daily

Datelines are approaching! This means that we are rushing to finish up projects. BORING! And yes, I hate astro. All the jargons and technical terms which I noe shit abt. Tests and exams will be here in less than a month's time. A part of me yearns for everything to be over and done with. Yet, another part of me wishes that time will slow to a crawl. Hmmm...

Anyway, I have been working yest and today. Today is the earliest I have woken up this sem - 7am. Surprisingly, I'm beginning to enjoy my work at AXS. It's interesting to talk to different people and hear about some of their stories. Sometimes, ppl juz want to find somone to talk to while other times, they juz wanna vent some frustration. Hence, my job is relatively simple. I only have to assist in some enquiries, bookings and reboot of system. Working again this coming Sun...

Alright, I'm gonna take a short nap before meeting someone in the evening... *yawn*

Why are people so weird? They get all worked up only when they realise that they are losing something precious. U asked why am I so heartless? Cos I have allowed myself to get hurt too many times in the past by being too soft-hearted towards you. U said U are going to change. But tat's not what I want. Go ahead and continue the way you are, pls. I'm not stopping U and nv will. Since you want all the fun in the world, I'm giving it to U. What irony when a gf cannot even be comparable to ur frenz such that U still need to get to know more "new" frenz! Like I said, perhaps someday U will find some gal who could take you for the way U are. But the person is definitely not me. I seriously had enough of your craps. Italian dinner

Finally IA test is over (But I know I did badly again *sigh*). Went over to Suntec & Marina Sq after sch. I bought more tidbits, like my fav Tao Kae Noi seaweed and some Taiwan snacks =p Fat, fat, fat! But someone is going to get fat with me. Hehehe...

Had dinner at this Italian restaurant somewhere around Clarke Quay.

It has so much nice pastries! Saliva-dropping right? I didn't get to try though. Was full from my Spaghetti Carbonara.

I think this restaurant is famous more for its wine and the pastries. Many ang mohs go there...

I like this pic :) How come I look kinda sunburnt though? Thanks for the present. Christmas really does come early. Lol... Urgh... Working morning again later.

Piano Ensemble Concert

Went town yest after work. It was kinda troublesome travelling here and there, from sch to work to town. Coincidentally, my cousin boarded the same bus tat I was on and even sat beside me! But I guess he dun recognise me. We didn't speak a word at all. It's those type of relatives where U only see each other once in a few years. Hmmm... Anyway, had Seafood platter for dinner at Manhattan Fish Market. (Ok, prob can change my fav restaurant frm Fish and Co to MFM alr). No nice movie to watch recently. Thus, we ended up having desserts at Gelare. (It was Tue again!)

Cookies and Cream had finished. So I chose the next best substitute, vanilla with chocolate chips while he had the chocolate one. Seems like many ppl really like choc-flavored stuffs. Envy me, Keith? U nv get to have ur Gelare yet. Haha... Juz joking :)
Me with Cheng Wei and her partner. Went for her NUS Piano Ensemble Concert at UCC this evening. It was a great performance, gal. I'm really impressed with your coordination. I like the left-handed performance too. Too bad I noe zilch abt piano. Wasn't able to appreciate much. Thank U, Kh, for accompanying me to the concert :) And stop fighting with me over everything. Bully! Haha...

Juz got back from a wake (My nanny's mom passed away). Haiz... I have been feeling lazy lately. My hair is ultra-long alr and I have been procrastinating the visit to salon. Think this sat's IA test is a goner too. Alright, I gonna study late tonite...

It seems like it was only a few months back when we juz went ur house. It was a great gathering as all of us had different scehdules so it wasn't easy for us to meet up even in sch. It shall be our yearly affair. I promise Riz I will be his camera woman every year. Haha...

Favian told me Prison Break's and Heroes' Season 3 are out. Ahhhh!!! I wanna watch but no time currently. Hmmm... Let me finish my tests, projects and watever first bah. Oh yeah I wanna thank my IA group. Thanks for all the effort put in, guys! It was great working with U guys. Anyway, Eugene sms me at 6pm sharp yest (the time he knocked off) asking where I am. Wei... Next time dun impromptu lah, sms me earlier. Also thank u, JL, for giving me a lift to MS. I finally had Long John yest. Been craving for it since HK. Someone nv tell me that he doesn't like Long John and still accompany me go eat -_-" Hmmm... I told U no need to compromise with me alr wat. Tell me in future ok?

Dear Jay and Josh should be at MOS right now. Sorry lah... Dunno y recently, no hweeling to club ah. Lol... Jay has been at MOS for 2 nights straight alr. Adrian also asked me to go club last nite at unearthly hour of 1+am? Think if I really went, I would reached there at 2am liao lor. Haha... Well, I really seldom club these days alr. I have also quit sm**ing! It's now homely Fri and Sat nites for Mango :)

Cold Rock

Had ice-cream at Holland V today. We wanted to go Gelare for waffles. But it closed down alr -_- Think it's going to be taken over by Olio Dome. Haiz... No more 1/2 priced waffles on Tuesday (I mean no branch near me alr). Anyway, we went to this new place (Dunno whether it's new or I haven't been to Holland V for quite some time) called Cold Rock Ice Creamery. The business is quite good, had to queue. It's quite special, from Australia. First, U choose the size of the cup that U want. Then U choose the flavor(s) followed by any mixer.

Now why did I say it's special? Cos they scoop up the ice-cream, take some of the topping and then really mix them together. It's not like the normal ice-cream shops where they juz put the toppings on top of tat pathetic scoop. This is evenly mixed. I'm amazed at how they "fry" the ice-cream. It didn't melt lor. First time I saw ppl literally playing around with ice-cream. Haha... Mayb I'll try it myself next time...

Here is my Boyensan flavor ice-cream with Violet Crumbles. It tasted like raspberry ice-cream with chocolate cookies. It's really good. Thick with crispy crumbles. But small cup like this costs 7 bucks.

Keith had waffles instead (He has been craving it for quite some time). Haha... This is like 1/4 the size of Gelare's waffles lor. And it costs $8. First time I saw blue color ice-cream. That's bubblegum flavor and the brown one is dark chocolate (which Keith said tasted like Magnolia). Hmmm... Overall, I will give this ice-creamery 3.5 out of 5. Special flavors, mixers and treatment of ice-cream but kinda pricey...

My freaky clone is nerd!

It's Christmas alr!

Hohoho... Christmas comes early for me! Lol... Kidding lah. Keith gave me my birthday present today which is way in advance lor. Here is what he has given me:

I woke up at 12 today. We went Ajisen @ IMM for lunch as it was raining and we got nowhere else to go. Salmon sashimi again~ Yummy!

And then it's off to school. Damn nice weather to nap lor. Wasted... Anyway, gotta rush 2 projects tonite. Dell case is due tmr and I have to get the powerpoint for Investment Analysis done. What a nice beginning for a new week~ Bummer...

Birthday Celebration

Isn't her cake so lovely?! My stupid cam's batteries ran low AGAIN when I was abt to capture the pic of Yf with her parents. Haiz... Anyway, her parents are really sweet and nice...

The buffet by Chen Shu Chen... It was good. Quite a bit of leftovers though (with more than half the cake too) for Yufen & family to eat over the next few days. Haha... It shall be their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lol...



I can totally understand now how Carisse, Jason and the rest staying in Tampines feel to travel to and fro sch daily. Gosh, the agony! I took abt an hour plus to reach Yf's house.

Shopped a little at Tampines Mall. Bought a dress, tube top and contact lens solution. Got this other brand called "Solo Care". "Complete" was being recalled as there was some problem. No wonder Kh and I couldn't find it the other day. Hmmm...

When a person is down on his/her luck, it's really damn freaking suay lor. Keith called me when I was about to alight from the train. I hurriedly got off the train with my bags of purchase. Scanned my wallet but there was no response. Card wasn't inside lor. I searched through my bag and all the paper bags but couldn't find it. Paid 2 bucks to get out. Walked a few steps then I found the card was in my pocket. I rem vividly feeling my pocket earlier on lei. Blur to the max~ Haiz... Know what happens next? I walked a bit more and the front of my white heels came off. I couldn't walk at all unless i go bare-foot. Sad... Had to called my bro and asked him to bring me a pair of slippers. Ppl who walked past kept looking at me. They must be thinking why this gal is standing in the middle of nowhere (the passageway). Meanwhile, I juz pretended to be busy by talking on the phone. Haha...

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday to someone too (+- 1 day)! I haven't had dinner yet. Going prata with Joshie liao...

Packed week

Jason is gonna kill me for posting this pic. But U do look studious in this pic wat. Haha... We were passing our time in the comp lab on Tue while waiting for the Fidelity talk in the evening. It was held at SMU. First time I have been to SMU. Jason said he regret not applying for SMU instead cos it's so nice and in town area. Haa... Anyway, it was a stupid talk lor. Only 6 job openings for so many undergrads-gonna-be-graduates to fight over. Furthermore, 5 out of the 6 are based in HK. There's only 1 freaking position for S'pore. I guess most ppl went there for the buffet dinner. Perhaps I should content myself with juz an ordinary bank instead of looking at such reputable big organizations. *sigh*

Went to the temple on Wed morn with my parents for my grandma's death anniversary. My niece was there too. She has grown up so much! Very cute. But she sneezed right into my face when I carried her -_-"

Worked on Wed and Thur evening. The culture and environment at AXS are pretty good. Like the ppl there. They are a fun-loving bunch, not those dead serious abt work type. Bad thing is practically all of them smoke though. Haha... Got to noe another Jia Wei (aka Joel) there. 3rd Jia Wei liao lor. Ok, I noe Jay and Joshua must be saying they are different and unique lor. (How come Jason's chinese name is not Jia Wei too?) Haha... They are 3 of my close guys frenz. Someone pangseh during lunch today hor? Ahem... Lol. Anyway, thanks for the offer to send me bk after work, Joel. I think I can manage on my own. It's been quite some time since I sat on a bike, let alone a sports bike...

Juz got home from prata and watching Nanny Diaries at Vivo with KH. It's a good show. Links to my stage of life at this moment. I can really relate to it. Seeing Annie's mom in that show, I think I could somehow understand how my own mother feels. I suppose every parent wants the best for their children. Hmmm... I hope I won't disappoint her anymore. It's great talking to U, KH. We really have many things in common ;)
