Another episode of THE AGENCY

Ok brace yourself this is the longest entry ever...
As usual, this morn i call up my agency. I asked Irene how come not money has not come into my a/c yet. She tot i was talking abt these 2 weeks timesheets. I said it's regarding the shortfall amt. Created hell lotsa trouble. I was transferred to the a/c dept. The gal who spoke to me insisted tat they have done an internet transfer last friday and they have the confirmation slip. She also got my correct a/c no. I am also certain tat there was no such transaction tat went thru for my a/c. Nevertheless, she wants me to update my bank book and call up my bank. Ok i did tat afterward. But this is wat happened in the midst of our conversation where we start to hot up:

I demanded an explanation as to why such a thing happened in the first place. Know wat her reply was? "Everybody makes mistake, right?" Like duh?? I hate generalisation. Juz admit tat it was YOUR mistake, bitch!

Caroline (i learnt her name later): We dun intend to take ur money. In fact, we wanted to pay u along with the next pay check. But since u called up last fri and wanted it immed, so we did an int transfer (I nv said i need it immed and was juz calling to find out last fri. Damn it! Dun wanna admit their fault and still put words in my mouth. And if they sincerely wanna pay me during the next payout, y didn't anyone inform me of it? I bet my ass like they really will bank it in if i nv call in the first place.)
Me: You guys have no integrity.
Caroline, abit taken aback: How can u say tat? u r tarnishing our co's reputation.
Me: This is not defamation and i got proof of it. (thinking to myself 'do they have a reputation to begin with?') LOL...
Caroline: Furthermore, u r working for us.
Me: Tat's y i wanna quit! U guys made a mistake, nv even apologise and still dare to raise voice at me.
She started to quieten down, asked me Irene(my agent) nv say sorry meh? I said no and she said she will check tat out. Right again, as if she will...

Anyway, i did the checking with my bank and then called her bk. The guy at DBS told me tat the money would bounce back to their a/c since it nv came thru. Carol said she would check her internet banking records and do either an ATM deposit or OTC during lunch. Fine, i am pleased with tat answer.

But more confusion followed. Another gal frm JMC called Michelle buzzed me during lunch and said her colls r at the bank. They are, however, unable to bank in the money as there is something wrong with the a/c no. The bank teller gave them another a/c no or so she said. I called DBS once again and then called Mich back. My call was cut off when i was talking halfway with her cos i was in the lift. Call bk again. This time Irene came to the phone. Can tell she was exasperated already. LOL... Said she asked Wen, the HR manager in APP, to do her a big favor by passing me the money first. So this is how the whole thing was settled.

Tat's not it. Practically the whole office noe abt it already. When i came bk frm lunch, Chai Li told me tat the temps there get at least 7 to 7.50 (She was also one of the temps in the past and converted to perm). WTF!!! I am so cheated... I wish the co would juz take me in directly and need not go thru tat fucked-up agency. I need a better proposition man. Badly.
