Bangkok

I am back frm Bangkok! It's been quite an experience though i didn't have much to buy. The gals there are all very slim. I only see like 5% who are on the fleshy side. I felt so self-conscious there, like i'm considered fat. Tat explains their sizes of clothes, shoes and even bras. B wanted to get a pair of slippers but he couldn't fit into the large size cos the guy explains they come in "Thai size" only. Lol... I see many A cups bras on sale too. There are a few Ds here and there, meant for trans i think. Transvestites are a common view there - I like!

Didn't go for any Tiger show cos it's quite exp. Went for massages twice within a single day though. A full body massage in the evening and a foot massage at nite after we are done with shopping. My body was aching all over. The massager was even frightened when one of my fingers cracked very loudly. She tot she has broken it. Haha...

I have covered Siam Centre, Paragon, MBK, Pratunum, Suan-Lum Nite Bazaar and part of Siam Sq as well. The places are so big such tat u can't seem to see where it ends. They are confusing as well, all angles look the same. Now i understand y ppl tell me to buy things i like very much on the spot. Cos u cannot seem to find it afterwards. Tat's wat happen for B. He can't find bk the shoes tat he wanted to buy initially. Sulking some more. Haha... I met up with Cheng Wei at Suan Lum. We had dinner at the food center. Their food center uses coupons to purchase food. The feeling is abit like fun fair. B and I sat on the Ferris Wheel too...

The food was fantastic. We dine at restaurants most of the time. A plate of pasta costs only like 120 Baht which is around S$5. We went Sushi Tei, The Coffee Company (imitation of TCC i think), Shanghai Xiaolongbao. Their Mac dun have breakfast menu one and they open at 9 or 10am. Kinda weird... The KFC made up for it though(highly recommended by B's Mom which is no mistake). The chicken is crispy, soft and tender. I miss Dunkin' Donuts already! Y S'pore dun have? Sob sob...

I bought a few bras, 2 tops, a jeans and a skirt. I got some food stuffs like pork floss roll, dried mango, coconut crisps and some milk/pandan/coffee sweets. I also bought 2 shoes under rather forced circumstances. My heels tat i wore there actually broke on the 2nd day! Wat a bummer, totally spoil my day. B and i walked around looking for shoes. I bought a pair of heels which i wanted to buy at Bugis St in S'pore. They were cheaper over there but were also hard to walk around with. So i got another pair of slippers frm m)phosis. The m)phosis there having 50% off but were still quite exp considering they are made in S'pore. Haha... My fav purchase gotta be the Guess watch. It's really nice. Oh and I did manicure as well. Costs only $4+ which is like 10 times cheaper than S'pore...

The cab fares were very cheap too. Costs around 3 bucks only. Mostly I took the skytrain though. It amazes me tat the ppl there really queue up to enter the train. Initially, I did not notice it until i start drawing stares frm them as I was standing right smack in the center waiting for the door to open. They are so orderly tat it could seriously put S'poreans to shame. S'poreans are really kiasu. We nv let the passengers first alight. Instead, we juz barge in and those who wanna alight have a hard time coming out. Not to mention, it is totally time-consuming.

I was freaking tired on the way back. Imagine sleeping only like 6 hours per nite then shopped the whole day without coming back for a rest. Fatigue has dawned on me on the flight. I was dozing off on the plane. After I came bk last nite, I slept 14 hours straight. Didn't go for my bro's convocation cos there was no tics. I took a nap this evening as well. It simply feels like bliss...
