Candle in the wind

Dun u think life is juz like a candle? It could be so strong at times and weak at others. May flickers when there's breeze and die out when there's a strong gust of wind. Hmmm... Dun get wat i'm saying? Nvm... I'm talking rubbish again. Today is the last day of the funeral. It's a closed chapter now.

Really admire my aunt. She's been so composed and cool throughout this wake. Was expecting at least some weeping but no. She was all smiles and chatting with all of us like usual. But i think this might be worse, cos deep down she might be brawling her heart out. I rather she let it all out. But then again, I dunno her tat well. Perhaps she's ready to let go and free my uncle frm all the pain. As for me, I have been fighting back my tears for the past 4 days only to drop tears today as we were kneeling by the coffin and abt to push it into the van. I think i would have broken down if i was in my aunt's position.

Anyway, here's a food for thought: Are those paper houses, paper merc etc gimmicks for business? I think those funeral planners do make tons of money. A mere paper house or car costs well over hundred. For goodness sake, i already emphasized tat it is made of paper. Dun they ought to have some sympathy and not charge such exorbitant price under such circumstances? The families are grief-stricken enough and yet they have to be extorted frm. I understand tat the funeral planners are also trying to earn a living here. Couldn't they have charge abit cheaper? And i wonder if the dead really can receive the money, houses and car after we have burnt them... Such a controversy here...
