Temple

This pic is taken the other day when we dropped by the temple for my granny's death anniversary. Yet another cute niece --> She's only 9 months' old and quite a bundle already. Look at her, riding on her dad's (my cousin) shoulders and pulling his hair. I noe she looks like a boy but is a gal actually. I had a rough time carrying her too. Babies nowadays are very energetic and I seem to be lagging behind.

Then, here comes the tigress! Didn't snap a pic of her. She's my eldest aunt-in-law. She entered and started saying at her top of her lungs tat if we had the interest to ferry my eldest uncle to the temple, then we would have called her. The 'we' in question refers to my family.

Wat happens is tat my dad had called them few days b4 to offer a ride. My uncle, being senile, said he'll call us when he's going. On the day itself, we did not rec any call and were too busy preparing the offerings stuffs to call them. It was all a misunderstanding as my mom told her. My dad had apologised too (though all of us think tat he made no mistake). But she said NO. We (all the rest of the relatives) had planned it all along and purposely played her out (this links bk to my granny's funeral 12 years ago). It has to do with something like she's the eldest so should offer the incense first. Blah, blah, blah...

I juz think tat it is all so stupid. Her thinking is juz too far-fetched. Trust her to come up with something so strategically. I'm like 'Hello? It's not an obligation tat we give u a ride. We are being kind by offering to do so'. Everyone started to disperse and leave after tat. (Scared of the tigress. Lol...) I think she's juz being too petty and xiao xin yan. Wanted to juz ask her to shut up man. Making hell of a scene there. An uncle who collect the burnt incense even asked whether we wanna call the police. Lol... I'm glad there aren't many outsiders around. Otherwise, I would be so embarrassed, juz wanna dig a hole and hide.

Family disputes are always so cumbersome and ugly. I think i have seen a fair share so far. Doubt we are going to visit her during Chinese New Year next year...
