White Dog Cafe
I think I'm eating a lot nowadays. Had dinner yest at this cool eatery in Vivo called White Dog Cafe. Ordered Baked Mussels (appetizer), Carbonara (as usual), Salmon pizza and desserts for two. I ate most of the Carbonara (totally in love with the butter sauce, right down to the last sip), a piece of Salmon pizza, Mussel and cakes. What a waste that I was so engrossed in eating that I forgot to take pics of the first few dishes. Only managed to take a pic of the desserts:
Oreo cheese (the top one) and warm chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream (below). The warm choc cake was simply awesome. It literally melts in your mouth. The taste of hot and cold combined is oh-so-great! Initially I couldn't decide between the two cakes so he said ordered both lor. I tot he would help to eat lah (by tat I dun mean juz a few bites lei. Boo! =p). He said that he was too full so I ended up finishing both the cakes. Hehe... I give this cafe 2-thumbs up. Highly recommended by me. The seats are all sofa facing the view of the sea & Sentosa, plus their services are good. The pricing is rather reasonable too. The bill came up to around 50 bucks for so much food. I think Fish & Co is already around $50 for an appetiser, 2 main course but no desserts.
It takes so much for me to feel full recently. Dunno y... Guess my appetite juz got better. For instance, I was still feeling hungry today after eating a plate of fried rice with some meat and egg for lunch. But I dun feel my clothes getting tighter though. In fact, the skirt I wore today was almost falling off my hips. I rem I last wore it in Thai and it doesn't feel that loose then. My mom even noticed that the denim skirt was not unbuttoned or unzipped when she was washing it. Haha... Tat's because I didn't have to, I juz simply pulled it down with ease. Lol... It's so weird. I seem to get thinner as I ate more food. Is this a sign that I should eat lesser instead?
Anyway, we caught the movie "The Departed" after dinner yest. Overheard the ppl seated next to me said that it's a comeback after popular demand cos it won some award. Well, I'm not sure abt this, haven't been following the movies and he was the one who booked this show. It was a great show nevertheless. I enjoyed the day very much(also the games at arcade. Haha... Long long time since I stepped into one). Thanks! =) Took my mind off the stupid sch stuffs. Severely lack of sleep now though. I only slept for no more than 2 hours last nite. Kept nodding off in class (can't blame me, esp for Mon morn class. I think I fell into a deep sleep the other time such that I didn't even hear abt the individual assignment for SCM. Only knew abt it after the mid term break was over. Luckily it isn't due yet until 2 weeks later). Tmr gotta go sch for project some more. Argh... I need to cut back on my late nites. Turned into a panda alr. Somehow I juz tend up to sit in front of my comp till the wee hours. So unproductive too!
Have already expected to find/see it(them). But somehow I still felt both crestfallen and slightly-okay with it(them) at the same time when I stumbled upon it(them). *sigh* U dunno wat I'm talking abt also rite? Mixed feelings... I AM SO CONFUSED!
