MFS Technology
Fish & Chips @ Raffles Marina. It's good, crispy with tata sauce. Food tastes delicious but service is damn lousy.
Pardon me but I dunno S'pore could have such a great view. There were many yachts around. Nice view of the sea with the Tuas checkpoint next to it.
With the pics above, I know U guys must be thinking it's so shiok for me being the 1st day of work and all. 1st day at work and there's a treat by a vendor alr. Haha... I wish I could paint a nice picture too. Dun get me wrong, the ppl there are friendly and nice. I juz can't stand the "factory" feeling, cheena environment and so many M'sians (their accents) around. Personally, I feel that it is more professional to converse in English. Most of them are not very well-educated. I'm considered to be an executive there lor. Very underpaid (think the pay of an 'O' level. This is my record lowest. Furthermore, it's an account job) such that I might as well have been a waitress. Dun expect me to work very hard lor. *sigh* First day of work and I detest this job alr. My colleague said that I'm foolish to accept such a low-pay assignment too. No wonder the boss kept thanking me -_-
Now I finally see how a piece of paper (ur cert) could bring you to places. Higher class and more glamorous. For once, I'm glad that I did further my studies afterall.
Anyway, there's this debate on how looks could bring you to places as well. The old hag (she's the HR manager who commented on my spagh straps) from where I worked as recept on Mon & Tue said that it's a waste for me to be doing Finance. She said she would expect a beauty to be doing HR/PR or marketing. Today my colls they all asked me to use my beauty to call the waiter over as we waited very long for them to come take orders. They simply refuse to come over or acted like they nv see my colls wave. Back at the office, a gal walked past and kept looking at me through the glass window. 1 of my coll said she tot she's the prettiest and has nv seen a more pretty gal than her at MFS. Lol... But seriously, many are aunties lah. Does one's appearance really does wonder?
