Scavenger Hunt
Watched 881 on Sun with A. This movie has not much of dialogues. Used Hokkien songs to bring out most of the plot. I can understand why some ppl find that it is boring. It's moderate to me lah. After that, went drinking around Tanjong Pagar/Chinatown area with Colin and Keith as he was feeling down. Got seh again, didn't even remember briefly that I dropped my phone. Only realised that the back cover was missing when I wanted to charge my phone the next morning. Yeah I know, I'm such a klutz again :pWent around and asked all the handphone shops in Clementi. Nobody sells the back cover one lei. Jason helped me asked Nokia Tampines, also dun have. Die... I scared that entire S'pore nobody sell lor. I juz feel that I have to go back to the scene, retrace my footsteps and take a look. Many ppl advised me against it as they feel that there is little chance of recovering it. Keith said that I dropped my phone in the car park. Ok, jogged a bit of my memory (I rem him scolding "What's wrong with you?" when I dropped my phone) ...
Thank you sooooooo much, JL, for accompanying me back to look for that damn cover. This pic above helped us a great deal in finding our bearing and locating the exact parking lot. Haha... Luckily I took this silly pic in my drunken state. Or perhaps I dropped my phone after taking this photo. I dunno lah. Anyway, JL and I went back to the car park 3 times cos the first 2 times there were many cars parked there and it was not easy looking for a small cover. We waited for them to finish pubbing for the nite. In the meantime, I treated him to coffee at Starbucks:
And he treated me Mango cheesecake. Haha... We went Clarke Quay and even Mt Faber where he played the saxaphone. Really thanks alot, JL. Couldn't have found it w/o U. Thanks to QW too who helped me check out the Nokia at Woodlands today (Sorry I nv inform U that I found the cover alr). The price is $55! -_-" Phew... Boy am I glad that I managed to recover it :)
