Family Gathering

Anyway, attended a family gathering today. Dearie, U missed out on good food again (He couldn't make it cos he got too much to study for his 22nd and 23rd papers). Chinese food and Halah food (pic above this). Eh nope, no Malay but we just wanted to try out more variety. Cater for 80 people worth of food lor. More than 80 ppl turned up. U can imagine how big my family is (and it's only my mom's side). The purpose of this gathering is because the house is gonna be sold next week. Therefore, this is the last gathering at this house where there are many childhood memories. This was where I spent many of my Sundays when I was a kid, playing with my cousins. But I still remember the horrible experience of a huge dog pouncing at me when I ran past one of the neighbour's houses. Memories oh memories...
Now, everyone is grown-up alr. 2 cousins getting married next year. Doc cousin getting married on Dear's bday next year (church wedding). Another cousin, personal banker, also holding her wedding dinner next year end. They were talking about the planning just now. I guess marriage is really not an easy task. To think that you actually had to plan a year in advance. And a table at some decent hotel easily costs around 1k. Really takes a lot to build a family. Both financially and emotionally...
